Fenerbahçe Beko has signed forward Metecan Birsen to a multi-year contract extension. The deal is for two years with an option for the 2025-26 season.

Birsen (2.05 meters, 28 years old) enjoyed a very successful career in the junior ranks. He was the MVP of the 2012 Adidas Next Generation Tournament Finals as a 17-year-old with U18 Fenerbahçe. He made his EuroLeague debut with Fenerbahçe in the 2013-14 campaign. Over his career, Birsen has also played with Anadolu Efes, Pınar Karsiyaka, Eskisehir, Istanbul BB and Sakarya Buyuksehir and he re-joined Fenerbahçe in 2021.
