Our national boxers completed the Women's World Boxing Championship held in Serbia with 1 gold and 3 silver medals.
 
Busenaz Sürmeneli defeated her Uzbek opponent Navbakhor Khamidova in the 66 kg weight class to become the World Champion for the third time and achieved another historical success. The national boxer won the gold medal as the World Champion in 2025 after 2019 and 2022.
 
Buse Naz Çakıroğlu, who faced her North Korean opponent Pang Chol Mi in the 52 kg final, lost on points and became the World's second.
 
Hatice Akbaş, who faced her Moroccan opponent Widad Bertal in the 54 kg final, lost and became the World's second.
 
Büşra Işıldar, who lost to her Russian opponent Saltanat Medenova in the 81 kg final, also became the World's second.
