FENERBAHÇE ÜLKER SPORTS ARENA

Located in Atasehir, one of the most rapidly developing areas on the Anatolian side of Istanbul, Fenerbahce Ulker Sports Arena is hosting Fenerbahce’s basketball games and showcase performances by the stars with its 13,500 capacity, state of the art-technological infrastructure and comfortable suites. The Fenerbahce Ulker Sports Arena project was commisioned under the sponsorship of Yıldız Holding and was prepared by Design Development Group, a worldwide and nationwide successful design firm. The total area of the Arena that started construction in 2008 is 67.000 m², with an interior main hall height of 28 metres. The ceiling load capacity and, the size of the load in areas accessing the bowl give access to the many lorries needed to allow for worldwide productions to be held here. Additionally 6 dressing rooms and 5 smaller dressing rooms, allow Fenerbahce Ulker Sports Arena to easily host many international sporting events. With its capacity of 13,500, 44 suites, the restaurant with its Dine and View concept , VIP areas, Courtside seats and a smaller court, Ülker Metro Energy Hall which hosts Fenerbahçe women basketball and men and women volleyball teams’ games, with a capacity of 2,500 for both training and matches, the Arena introduces many firsts of its kind to Turkey. Having considered all details during the design process, the Arena also boasts firsts in indoor advertisement in Turkey. With its 360 degree LED spanning the tribunes and one of the the biggest scoreboard in Europe weighing 28 tons, the Arena provides sponsors the possibility to communicate in as many ways as their imagination may stretch. Fenerbahçe Ulker Sports Arena opened its door in 2012 and hosted more than 1 million guests and 250 events in 4 years.
